RENTER’S QUALIFICATIONS

Be over 21 years of age to qualify for the groups A1,B,B1,D,D1 and have a valid driving licence
issued at least one year ago.For all other groups, the renter must be over 25 years old and have a
valid driving licence issued at least 3 years ago.

CAR COLLECTION

The renter has to check and report any means of damages on the car in order to avoid any
charges regarding damages caused by a previous renter.

The car will be provided with an amount of gasoline that is marked on the contract and must be
refilled at the same level prior to car return, otherwise a charge will apply in addition to refuelling.If
the renter return the car with more gasoline than it was originally, there is no refund for the extra
petrol.

INSURANCE

Collision Damage Waiver (C.D.W.)
The renter can limit his responsibility for his legal share in any damage of the vehicle : to 390€ for
groups A1,B,D1 and 550€ for groups B1,C,D,E and 1.000€ for groups G,H by paying an extra
amount.

Full Damage Waiver (F.D.W.)
The renter may waive the above deductible amount reliability of 390€ or 550€ or 1.000€ by paying
in addition an extra daily amount.

Personal Accident Insurance (P.A.I.)
This insurance covers the passengers against bodily injuries

FACTORS THAT NULL ALL TYPES OF INSURANCE

  1. Any wrong and/or illegal actions or failure to act which result in damage or loss.
  2. Driving under the influence of alcohol or substances that diminish your capacity.
  3. Unauthorised persons driving the vehicle
  4. Not adhering to traffic, road and driving regulations.
  5. Unsuitable driving or driving the vehicle on road conditions not suitable for the make of the vehicle. The driver is responsible for any costs incurred for damage caused to the undercarriage.
  6. Not reporting the collision to Venus and the nearest Police Station immediately.
  7. Failure to report the theft of a vehicle to Venus and a Police Station within 6 hours of the event.
  8. Not using the vehicle for its intended purpose, for example carrying unlawful goods

PAYMENTS BY HIRER

1) Charges for late return of the vehicle such as 10€ per hour applies if there is not any warning
before to Venus office.
2) Charges for cleaning the vehicle's interior if the vehicle is returned in an excessively dirty condi-
tion that requires extra cleaning or deodorizing. This includes, but is not limited to, spillage of flu-
ids, food, vomit, other stains, and unpleasant odours including cigarette smoke.
3) Traffic and/or parking offence infringement fees.

LOSS OR DAMAGE KEY

In case of loss or damage of car key during the rental, the renter is liable for the following charges:
80€ for car group A1,B,D1
100€ for car group B1,C,D,E,G,H

GPS

Damage to or loss, including theft, of the GPS unit and/or its accessories. The charge is 100€.

HIRER'S OBLIGATIONS

The hirer shall ensure that:
1. all reasonable care is taken when driving and parking the vehicle.
2. the water in the vehicle's radiator is maintained at the proper level.
3. the oil in the vehicle is maintained at the proper level.
4. only the fuel type specified for the vehicle will be used;
5. the tyres are maintained at their proper pressure;
6. the vehicle is locked and secure at all times when it is not in use and the keys kept under the
hirer's personal control at all times.
7. should a warning light be illuminated or the hirer believes the vehicle requires mechanical atten-
tion, the hirer will stop driving and advise the owner immediately.
8. any authorised driver carries their driver's licence with them in the vehicle at all times and will
produce it on demand to any enforcement officer.

DAMAGE/THEFT/LOSS

The Renter is required to contact Venus immediately in the event of theft, loss or damage and a full
report must be made to the Police Station.
Venus will not take responsibility for personal belongings left in the vehicle, stolen or lost during an
incident.

IN CASE OF ACCIDENT

The renter is obligated to inform immediately our rental company in
case of an accident. He has to take care of the collection of documents of proof (documentary evi-
dence) and probative evidence in connection with the incident otherwise no insurance is valid.
